Were you contacted first or did you contact him? Mid october 2021.
Which website did the first contact initiate from? OKCUPID.
How long did the correspondence last? Until now.
What was odd about the correspondence? He stared asking me for money end of November.
What money was requested? For what purpose? He was stranded in Indonesia on a business trip. He had lost his wallet and had to pay for goods or he would be sued for breach of contract.
The money was requested by whom, and for how much? By him. It started with smaller amounts and all of the sudden asked for 62 000$US which I refused. Even before I felt that it was a scam. I was on and off knowing it was a scam but he sent me his passport and I saw him live on camera. It was the same person. That got me hooked for a while.
How many times did this person ask for money? 6-7 times
What happened at the end? He was always stuck there for more reasons. It was lasting forever.
