I met this man on Jw match claiming he was a widower, his wife had died 5 years prior and he has 2 grown children in their 20's. After several very short calls and emails he claimed he loved me and wanted to come to Canada to meet me and start a new life - BUT he needed money. After claiming delays in getting his paperwork processed and processing fees to the travel agent- using money I was transferring to him, I finally asked him for a copy of his passport and the processed paperwork. He became furious and refused to send me the information. I realized after 10 months of corresponding with him and thousands of dollars that I was scammed and reported him to the police.
