REPORT N1 (added on September, 19, 2018)
Lucy (Italy)

It all started around 10 August 2018. I received a friend request through Facebook and before answering I saw his profile. He had 3 other contacts on FB: 2 women and one man. The photo is of an attractive man, but the indicated birth date did not convince me: December 1, 1984! Out of curiosity I replied to his friend request and from that moment we started to talk first through FB and after whatsapp. He told me that he was in Liverpool, that he was a widower and that he had an 8-year-old daughter named Sharon. Given that the date of birth made me suspicious I told him. He replied that it was the date of birth of his wife who died long ago and put it on FB to preserve the memory! He told me he was 57 years old. After a few days he tells me that he has to leave for Cambodia for work and his daughter is also with him. I think it's a bit too fast in Cambodia! After a couple of days he tells me that his daughter has fallen and has had to resort to hospital treatment. The following day he sends me a message: his daughter is about to die and does not want to lose it, but does not know how to take her away from there. I advise him to contact the British Consulate in Cambodia, but he says it is not possible. I tell him to send me a copy of my daughter's certificate of admission. He sends me a picture of a little girl in a dentist's chair !!! and did not even remotely resemble the photo of the daughter that had made me have a few days before! So he asks me to help him: he needs ? 2,500.00 to have to have them right away to take care of his daughter. I tell him I'm at work and I do not have that money. I repeat that I want to see the certificate of admission of the daughter. Meanwhile, I looked for both his cell phone number and the one shown on FB: it was called from Ghana! the following day he sends me a message: he had found a person who gave him the necessary money for his daughter. I asked him if he really thought I did not understand he was a scammer! Sorry for my English!!! I'm Italian!
