He messaged me and after the first or second email was in love with me. I felt something was fishy, so I just continued to email with him. He sent me photos of himself and stated he was in NYC for work, but would be back at the end of the week. He then suddenly had to leave NYC to go to West Africa for just one week. We spoke on the phone several times He emailed me several times. We were supposed to meet on 7/2/16. He didn't show. Received an email from him a couple days later stating that immigration was holding him up in Africa because his Visa was expired. He was requesting that I send him monetary help asap. He also sent me a text. I returned his text that I knew he was a scammer and that I was going to report him.
