This man I met on Match, he says his occupation is a gemologist, travelling to Equador for exploration work, then on to Kuwait and Quatar for sale of gems. He is well educated, apparently of Norwegian decent. His accent sounds Ghananian. We chatted for some months then he asked for a loan of money, to pay his landlady for rent in UK. I sent the 550pds. When he then travelled to Equador for his work, he said his bank card would not work and again could I loan him 2k dollars to pay his workers out there. When he got to Kuwait, he could not afford his fare home so again asked for money to get home to Australia. The total amount I have sent him is approximately 3k GBP. He claims to have a son in UK studying, On return to Australia, he apparently had an accident and I didn't hear from him for some weeks. His son then wrote to me telling me this and would I send his airfare to enable him to get home to see his sick father. I refused. Each time I had to send payment it was by bank transfer to his landlady in the UK. I then got a chat message from the father saying he didn't have money to repay at present time. I therefore call him a scammer.
