REPORT N1 (added on September, 17, 2015)
Katie (USA)

Immediately after I registered on match, I got a request to chat from Antonio, AKA, Toni. I accepted. After some back-and-forth, Toni said that it would be much easier to communicate via email and sent me his email. I used his email to contact him, and we began an email correspondence. His story had a lot in common with the story he used in Australia. That is, he was born in Milan. He is a construction supervisor who lived in Sweden for 20 years. He has one daughter whom he loves dearly. He is now in LA. He has various agencies with whom he works to find construction jobs, generally in concrete. He was either divorced or his wife died five years ago, and that's the reason he moved back to the states. When asked about the discrepancy in how his marriage ended, he said that it was because he was getting a divorce five years ago when his wife died, and he didn't really have it straight in his mind whether he was divorced or a widower. The emails flew back-and-forth for about a week while I was on a trip, and when I got home, he talked me onto setting up Yahoo messenger so we could chat more. He never got around to asking me for money before I got suspicious. I checked out his email and found out that he had set up a Facebook account with only a couple of pictures and no friends, which listed his home city at Seattle. This was interesting, because he had said he was in LA. So I did some checking and found your website, and I think he has from the chat some access to what I was looking at over my smart phone, because there were a couple of odd buzzes, and then he never contacted me again. I do have several photos he sent me as well as most of the emails. I don't have the chats.

Hello Katie,

Thanks for writing. ...I'm so happy with a big smile on my face to get an email from you .... now i feel more comfortable as we are making a step towards knowing each other by taking time to mail each other. I like your profile so much and i am so glad we connected( communication is one of the major keys in building a relationship) I'm really new on the site and was on here for a short time but i really don't think its as easy as it seems to find a partner, it was interesting meeting a couple people on there but don't think i was interested to continue communic
