This man poses as a widow living in Florida with his 13 year old daughter. Claims to be a gold buyer and travelled to Australia. to buy gold bars from a mine. He used to send romantic love emails and poetry every morning end along endless texts. The emails were in perfect English and it was obvious they were a copy and paste from some romance site or relationship site. Any other emails were badly written and the English and grammar were poor. English was not his first language.
He claimed to be Italian and had lived in Florida since he was 14 years old. Talked of marriage and love, soul mates etc etc.went off to Australia on business. On Christmas Day he sent many texts telling me his gold license had expired and he needed help to renew it. He needed 8k to be sent to a friend who was helping him. The bank wire was to be sent to Antwis Autobody Shop in Georgia. This was reported to the police. The next demand was for 50k to help pay the insurance as he had bought too much gold and left himself short. Sent me a fake shipping document that had my name on it! The company was in South Africa. He wanted me to wire the money to another account. I reported this to the bank and the fraud dept. a week later he wanted 20k in cash as he had sold some gold on the black market and was short and as soon as he had the money he would be flying over. He got none of this and I filed an FBI and police report.
The real man in the photos is in Hungary and is called Bela Polocsyani he is real and honest. He has so many photos on line and IMO was ripe for a scammer to build a profile and use it.
