You are required to input the COT code which the VVS will provide once the sum of 0.0015% of the total sum of $2,000,000.00USD is paid to VVS. The COT Code is the cost of transfer code required to finalize the transfer of the said funds to your local bank account in England. This is the cost of transfer charges to be paid to the VVS, each international transfer from the VVS financial Institution requires her clients to make a down payment of 0.0015% of the amount being transferred, like every other financial institution a certain amount is being charged for any funds transaction. The reason you are required to make a down payment before the COT code is released and the transfer completed is due to the fact that this is an international transfer from the United States of America to England and the VVS policy states that clients are required to make payments for the Cost of Transfer charges as the charges can’t be deducted from the funds being transferred because of the exchange rates in currencies, the constant fluctuation at the world exchange market and sometimes the receiving banks do not remit the exact charges to VVS which result to loss of charges at VVS.
