Letter 3

Hello Briana,
Thank you so much for the “First installment”,I read it couple of times and i am completely captivated. You have an interesting personality, and you seem like a woman of integrity and substance. I'd really love to know more about you…Ok my turn!
I am much more than what is written and seen here, and less than my potential.Communication and lifelong learning is very important to me, and while it's difficult to get an accurate picture of who someone is from just a brief profile and photos, the more someone shares through what they write and photos from their life, the more intrigued I am.
I’m Daniel ,I was born in Salt Lake Utah to Greg and Lisa Bernhardt. My parents moved to Odense Denmark when I was 15,I lived in Denmark and other part of Europe(My college and early career years) until 7years ago when i moved to Florida.I have traveled all over the world, enough to recognize the universality of humanity.
I'm very close to family and friends. I am the type that will give you the shirt of my back, then go out and buy another shirt, and give you that one also! Never can have too many friends!I work as an interior/Exterior designer and I am very passionate about what I do for a living.
Confident, cool, calm, and collected! Not a rocket scientist, but I always have said I am smarter than the average bear. A business professional, that has found balance in life and is enjoying life, is looking for someone to enjoy it with! In short a great guy looking for a great lady.
Proud of my great sense of humor. I draw from my sense of humor to keep the mood playful and the energy positive & lively. I believe mutual attraction/chemistry is a must. Couple that with fun, humor, spontaneity, creativity & passion. With time friends can become more.
As for the truth, I believe that the truth is a definitive Yes or No! Any thing else is drama. So yes I sing in the shower. Yes I ate the last cookie. Yes I was out there taking down the goal post. Yes I broke the plate. The truth comes quickly, and with out thought. In short live is a journey, not a destination, So stop pacing the aisles and counting the miles. Instead climb more mountains, eat more ice cream, go barefoot more often, swim more rivers, watch more sunsets, laugh more, cry less, Life must be lived as we go along!
I am attracted to a woman who appreciates and embraces life because of the challenges she has experienced and risen above, is optimistic, community oriented, values honesty, integrity and loyalty. She can converse on a variety of subjects, (as I can) is a teacher as well as a student of life, can laugh at herself and help others see humor, is compassionate and has a zest for a life well lived and filled with love. She understands that love is something that grows the more it is freely given, and realizes that although science and medicine continue to evolve, there is more unknown than known and would like to share the adventure of exploring life's mysteries with me. I seek to connect for friendship first and allow love or a long term relationship to develop when there's a deep soul connection.
Well Briana, that's little about me,do tell me more about yourself. Tell me about your family? What is your perception about love, life and marriage? What exactly do you cherish most in life? I would love to play golf with you, help your revive your skills,i'm usually free on the weekends…
I have to stop here.. Looking forward to hear from you.. smile !!!!
Warm regards,
Daniel B.

Dear Briana,
Thanks for the beautiful email, it feels absolutely beautiful to learn about you.
I want to use this opportunity to apologize for the slow communication this past few days,I'm sorry for the delayed reply, and I hope that doesn't give you the wrong impression that I'm not interested..I find your personality and things you write about yourself intriguing...I have been really busy with a work project. It's been challenging because of the short timing, but I'm almost done with the sketches and plans, but wanted to reply your email first.
I live alone and I have a daughter who’s 24,and she's my only happiness now.I was blessed to be married for 30 years to my college sweetheart until she passed on 7years ago from Lungs and Bronchus Cancer. It was tough period for us but we survived, and right now i can say that I am ready to find that special again.
I work as interior and exterior designer/Architect(i know i shared this before), I have been in this field for almost 30 years.Through the ups and downs of life's journey, I have evolved into a creative, self sufficient man, a type A leader, and a team player.
Community building is also very important to me and I have served 20 years on various Community Boards, including leading a successful business district authority, Vice Chair of a Historic Architectural Review Board.Wondering why i chose this career path?..It’s a long story but i will summarize it ..Ha..
I was On a crossss-Country trip with my family, and we were driving into the Rocky Mountains when I saw it: a house built into the side of a mountain. Actually, it was more than a house,It was a majestic three-story mansion with a beautiful terrace overlooking the mountain. “Whoa!” was all I could say as we drove by. I was nine years old, and I knew right then that I wanted to create structures that would have the same effect on people as that house had on me.
I had actually been interested in architecture since I was about six years old, when I saw an episode of Tom & Jerry in which Tom draws blueprints for a mousetrap. I loved the idea of drawing blueprints and seeing something get built from them. I played with Legos a lot when I was young, too, making my own buildings before moving on to Lego Architecture kits. I remember carefully piecing the White House together and standing back to marvel at what I thought was one of the greatest architectural achievements in history.
As I grew older I continued to pursue this interest, reading books and researching famous architects ranging from James Hoban, the architect who designed the White House, to Bjarke Ingels, my favorite contemporary architect. I watched lectures online of architects explaining what architecture was to them so that I might understand what architecture was to me.In high school, I started researching summer programs that could give me a hands-on experience with architecture. The summer after 10th grade, I attended ArcStart, the three-week summer architecture program at the University of Michigan. I chose this program primarily because Michigan’s Taubman College of Architecture has some of the best architectural technology in the country, and I wanted to see it in action. The 3D modeling technology I saw there was incredible. In the Digital Fabrication Lab were several 3D printers—and this was before they were so widely available. This My natural love for creativity took me through all my career degrees and found me a home in this profession.
My love for architecture, however has grown not out of design, but out of practicing the business of architecture. Design is wonderful, it’s what keeps us engaged and creative and energized, but it’s not the nuts and bolts of our profession. It’s easy to enjoy something that is naturally fun – like design. But to LOVE something you have to take joy in the most mundane and tedious tasks associated with it as well. In this way, being in architecture/Interior Designer is much like being in a marriage – you may not always like thing things she does or get along with her, but you still love her and can’t imagine your life without her (talking about architecture not wife) I have been told I look younger than my age, it's good gene, but I am young in Spirit and express that in the way I consciously live. The wisdom gained over the years, the ability to be calm amidst chaos, to find the silver lining in the challenges of life and know that deep abiding love creates miracles, is the result of wisdom gained over a lifetime and compensates for the lost youthful days of the past.
Like i told you in my previous email,I had my early years in Copenhagen, Denmark.Copenhagen is said to be the happiest city in the world, with the waterways and parks, the famed Danish design, plenty of Nordic cuisine! Nyhavn is one of the most well-known images of Copenhagen. This canal is lined with lovely colorful buildings, many of which house restaurants, cafes and shops. Many of Copenhagen's attractions are along its extensive waterfronts. My favorite was the shiny Black Diamond Library building.
Instead of taking the car or taxi to work, most Copenhagen locals bike everywhere.
There are city bikes that you can rent from street corners, or take a guided city tour with Cycling Copenhagen.
Within a span of one-hundred fifty years, Denmark changed from an agricultural to an industrialized society. In the late nineteenth century, two-thirds of the population lived in rural areas and engaged in agriculture; today, only 15 percent live in rural areas, and many of those people have city jobs.
I think you would also like the buildings. Architecture in Denmark is marked by a division between the ideals of Denmark as a "fairy-tale country" and as a modern, industrialized one. The first image is characterized by traditional small houses with small windows, low ceilings, straw roofs, and gardens with flowers and vegetables.
Even the castles are small and more "cute" than "grandiose." The modern ideal is marked by houses with slender lines and large glass windows or walls, very little outside decoration, and the use of bricks, tile, and ferroconcrete. Common to both architectural traditions is the fact that there are very few tall buildings. Apart from a few buildings from the 1960s in the largest cities, it is unusual to see buildings with more than five floors. Family houses often have one floor, usually with a garden.
I have relatives that would be so happy to be your tour guide anytime you like t visit. They will make you the best dinner. Danes eat most of their meals at home and in private settings, although public dining places ranging from small hot dog stands to fancy restaurants are available and are used.A breakfast of coffee, bread, or cereal is eaten at home. Sunday breakfast commonly includes fresh bakery bread, boiled eggs, juice, tea or coffee, and the Sunday newspaper.
I think i should stop here,i still have work...Not a fun weekend for me...
I hope you are enjoying your weekend.I look forward to hearing from you again.
Warm regards,
Dan.

Hello Briana,
How are you doing today? I'm guess you are waiting for my reply to your email. Well i would have loved to read from you, or just a check up email since i seem pretty busy.

I have been busy with this new project,it doesn't leave me with much time for myself. As a matter of fact,I literally switch between meetings with my clients concerning the project, and by the time i get home,I'm completely exhausted.I'm getting ready for another long meeting today, but i wanted to drop a few line just to let you know that you are being thought of.I am hoping that you are having fantastic day so far. I look forward to hearing from you.
P.S: Maybe we should talk on the phone sometime..What do you think?

Hello Honey, I know you must have been trying to reach me, but I want you to know that I'm fine(well not fine fine. I'm going crazy not being able to talk to you.) I took my phone to the store and I was asked to pick it up on Monday . Not being with a phone this weekend makes me sick. Well I can deal with business but I'm missing you so bad. I can't think of anything else but you( I wonder what you have done to me because it feels like magic. But I love it still. I hope you are doing okay honey. I will keep writing emails until I get my phone back. I don't want to stay a day without talking to you anymore. You make me so happy. The thought of you comes with great joy. I'm still in New York, it's crazy how they extend everything . One of the reasons why I don't do anything related to the military. They just don't come to a conclusion, they have to take orders from someone who's taking order from another senior personnel. I still don't know why it's taking so long to approve all the documentations for the contract. I'm sorry honey, I was really hoping to spend this weekend with you. I know it will be very soon. I will talk to you soon.

Valuing a relationship is not merely done by seeing each other everyday.
What counts is how much in our busy lives we remember each other - you are in my mind even in my busiest schedule, I think of you all the time and I can't stop smiling to myself..... This is a brand new whole feeling for me and I'm simply happy about it. I enjoy talking to you in the morning, texting during the day and having the chance to say good night to you - I feel glad knowing there's someone out there I can call and reach out to, someone I can have a decent conversation with, someone that cares and wants to know how my day was, and wants to share her day with me. Its been interesting so far getting to know more about you, I am convinced we'd make a perfect match. I can't wait to meet you face to face, give you the biggest hug, and see that charming smile of yours.

I had an easy day. Sundays are not religious day in Dubai, But only worked for 3 hours. And i went to the IT guys at Apple store to see why i still can't text or call out,and to make sure i didn't cause anything.I am at the apt now, it's 12:54,but I can't believe the number of people outside - I guess they're already used to the night life.

I will be having a busy day tomorrow, it's going to be very hot... What are your plans for the week. How was your day? No matter what you do sweetie do have an awesome week, keep smiling and know I'd be thinking of you.
Getting to know you is already amazing, and together it will only get better and better. I will forever be grateful that you came into my life, communicating and learning about each other. Together we're perfect, and I will absolutely appreciate having you for a partner. I can't say no more....

All My Love & Heart....Warm Hugs
Yours Dan.
Letter 9

Goodmorning my Priceless Jewel, Just a quick note before i step out .
Remember i told you last night that a colleague had invited me to come see him in Abu Dhabi. He is having some difficulties with his project, and I'm glad i could be of help. Abu Dhabi is about 2hours drive from Dubai, perfect time to fantasize about this relationship, about what i desire from the universe in this relationship. I have a taxi guy that takes me around, his name is Abdul, he will be taking me to Abu Dhabi.Sorry honey, i didn't mean to disturb you,Just a glimpse of what my day would look like,as i try to share every minute of it with you..in my thoughts.

I know that some decisions are hard to make, but when affection and love prevail over any other interests, then all the roads to happiness become wide open and danger free.
First of all, I would like to make sure you know that I have fallen for you,i feel something stronger than just ''Likeness'' I'm certain that it's love(as crazy and strange as it is to admit,i can't be in denial anymore)I love you,and i want you to know that you are the most wanted and the most desired person than anyone could possibly be. I also need you to know that there`s nothing more beautiful in the world than what is happening between us right now; I feel we are growing closer and getting along really well. I feel we are becoming more intimate in every sense, and that this union is growing bigger; and that`s the most gratifying thing two human beings could wish for.
I need to remind you (even if that takes a simple letter or e-mail), that you don`t have to be afraid on anything, at least not while we are together, as close and united partners.
I miss you so much, I can`t wait to see you and kiss every inch of your face, every little bit of your lips, every little corner of you...
These last few days I have been thinking with affection of the moment we will see each other , and satiate all this desire that has taken over us in such an intense but wonderful way.
I leave you with the first of the many kisses I intend to give you...
Letter 10

Hello, my future wife.
Whether you are reading this now, or stumble upon it after, I want you to know a few things.
The reason I am writing this today is because I can't stop thinking about you, and I can't stop myself from imagining how happy we will be. Let this letter be a promise to you that I will do my best to be the man I want to be for you.
I may not yet know all of the difficulties that come with a lifetime commitment , but I have enough relationship experience to know what I want and how I picture my life with the person I will commit to: You.
Those around me are a continuous source of education and inspiration on how I want our relationship to be. So here and today, I vow to try my best to do the following: I promise to do my best to make you beam daily, so count on many surprises. Your smile will be my priority. I get weak knees when anybody smiles, so just imagine the effort I will make to be the source of yours.
I promise I will always look at you with the same adoration as I did the moment I realized I loved you.
I promise to try to ignite the same sparkle in your eyes I see when you're surprised, inspired, motivated or when you are about to lean in to kiss me.
I promise to hold your hand when we're 80 years old with the same liveliness that I did when I crossed that line to hold yours for the first time. I vow never to let the excitement of dating me die down; I will surprise you with the location, the reason or the activity itself.
I promise to keep you guessing where we're going next. I promise to do my best always to interest you. I will keep reinventing myself, gaining new hobbies, new knowledge and new interests to keep you — and myself — entertained.
I promise to have new stories to share with you, and maybe I'll retell the best ones again if you insist. Our friendship will continue to grow over the years.
I vow to challenge you to challenge yourself for the better; to make you think differently. I promise to try to feed off of your illuminating energy that will inspire me to do the same with myself. I will do my best to ensure that being bored never crosses your mind.
Even in grief and darkness, I promise to show you the different shades of the dark, and to help you find the tiny rays of light that are always there if you seek them. After all, there's always worse than worst and better than best; everything is relative.
I promise to kiss you throughout our life together, with the same passion I had the first time I felt my lips on yours.
When we kiss, I want it to slow down time — just you and me engulfed in our feelings.
I promise to play the games you like to play.I promise to do my best to remain physically attractive for you, and I will do my best to be healthy in order to keep up with our children and grandchildren; someone has got to teach them Muay Thai kickboxing. I'll train you, too; I want you to know how to fight and defend yourself, just don't use it against me.Hahaha.
I promise to help you to be healthy, both physically and mentally. I will cook and clean for us. Expect the best breakfast: traditional Danish tomato and pepper omelets, followed by fruit salad with… well, I can't give all the secrets out.
I promise to strive to be a role model for our children. I want both you and them to see me as a source of motivation. I want to inspire them in the same way that my father inspired me.
I promise to do my best to love your family as you love them and to be by their side as much as I am by yours.
I promise to always listen to you when you simply just want to be heard; when you want someone to vent to about something or when you want advice.
I will listen to you especially when you don't feel comfortable sharing your thoughts with anybody else, and to the things you try to tell me when you're not even speaking. I promise to always listen.
During our life together, I promise to make sure that you feel as though you are the center of the household — I know you will be — and I will always try to show my appreciation for you because of that. Being the man of the house is nothing without a woman.
I promise never to let my guard down in taking care of us. I know you won't be one to be satisfied with the bare minimum.
I promise to do everything that I can for you without taking away from your independence physically, intellectually or emotionally.
I promise to create family traditions and to make sure that your legacy lives forever through our children.
I promise to encapsulate the moment when I realize that I am in the most magnetic, amorous and erotic love with you, not to let that feeling dissipate to the best of my ability and to relive it with you constantly, always...Most importantly, i can't wait to be home to you.
Sincerely,
Your Future Husband.
