Good Evening Joyce, Sorry for responding late, how are you doing, hope every thing are going as planned, glad to receive your message, i appreciate your time, writing each other anytime and get to know each other more better, I am interested in getting to know you better if you don't mind. i would love us to know more about our selves and see the journey i am from France but currently living in LA,California, sorry if we live far from each other lol, but distance can be countered by a good communication and am ready to relocate for the right woman anywhere i found one who is going to love me as much as i love and respect her for who she is. I don't want to rush into any relationship. I also want us to take things slow to get to know everything about each other. I am 54, I have been a marine engineer for Twenty Seven (27) years, and i thank God for all he has done, for his protection and guidance toward my life, and must of all the blessings. I am a one-woman man and i know what I want, I know how to treat a lady to make her happy. I am strong, confident and yet sensitive. I am educated but not intellectual. I take pride in my ability to find the truth in situations. I love music and animals, I am a positive person who looks for the best in others. I am almost always in a good mood, have a good sense of humor, and like to play and tease. I enjoy most activities and am always willing to try something new. i have walked in the company of kings and fools. I am honest and loyal to a fault. I am easy to get along with and very giving. I am a doer rather than a talker, although I love good, honest communication. I love kids as i see them as a blessing from God. I am blessed with a lovely girl her name is Melissa, she is 16 years turning 17 soon, her mother passed away to heaven five years back through CANCER, ever since i have decided to remain single and work hard for the best of our future, but i have realized that life is too short to be left alone with a lonely life, playing the role of a father and a mother, and i feel sorry for my self, and i know is not easy for both of us .I love the outdoors and currently walk about 4 miles daily at a college near my house which has 47 miles of wilderness trails. I am continuing my quest to better health. and it is so relaxing and peaceful out there with all the wild animals. I am a very affectionate, kindhearted, romantic. This means I like to do the simple things like open doors, send cards, flowers, little unexpected surprises - things along those lines - when I feel close to someone. I have learned over the years that not all women like these things, so I just wanted to be open about it. i would probably describe my selves as being,funny, open minded, good morals, loyal, outgoing, caring, giving, soft minded, honest, easy to talk to with a very happy and gentle demeanor.I like to laugh and make people laugh. I enjoy seeing people smile and I like to have fun. I want a woman to communicate with. I specifically want communication about feelings, needs, wants, hopes, dreams, problems,solutions, and all other things that can make a relationship work. I also want communication about expectations and plans. I would rather put things on the table than sweep them under the rug. I just want a woman who can communicate, listen, and respond. I also want a partner who will commit to a long term relationship till death found us, I want a woman who wants fidelity and values it as a cornerstone of building a relationship. women knows men want long-term commitment and fidelity, but sometimes misinterpret this desire as needless.They may think men want the commitment for some reasons, to complete the woman or even to own the woman. That is not the issue with me. I want a woman who enjoys what life has to offer.I want a woman who knows how to play, who is not afraid or shy to make a fool of herself, who lives her passions.. I want a woman of creative,intellectual, playful substance. I want a woman who can recognize and acknowledge what she wants and address it, a woman who can say no or yes, depending on which one is more true to her heart, a woman who can give to her relationship and partner without sacrificing herself. I want a woman who has dreams and is working on making them happen. I want a woman who uses the tool of money wisely, and knows how to be both frugal and generous. I don't care what he makes or what his career profession is. I feel that I am bright, love to talk and listen - communication is essential to a great relationship, love to laugh and see life as the glass being half full, don't mind challenges, think life is what you make it, and know that having an equal partner in life is a beautiful thing. Family to me is everything. I would really like to find a woman who will love me for who I am and not for who they want me to be. I want someone who wants to spend time with me......love me , comfort me and be there for me when i need a shoulder to cry on as i would be for them. I need someone who loves to cuddle and just do simple things in life...love to pamper and be papered......i am not perfect and never have claimed to be.....but when i love i love with everything i have and only want to make that special woman happy. Hi My Sunshine, It's really nice receiving emails from you, I hope that you are well, how was your day I am being a bit lazy this morning. I had planned to attend church in the morning but am not home. I am off to NY But don't know when i will be back, butt i know i will be back today. maybe late, can't send this message now because i still have so many things to write to it and few questions to ask you when i am back i will send it. I am a very spiritual person. I grew up in the church so scriptures and religious principles are very well known to me. I'm Catholic I cannot say that I am religious, but I am a follower of Christ and live, move and have my being in Him. I will keep you in my prayers always. I have learned that we have to acknowledge people where they are and not where we want them to be. People tell us every day who they are but sometimes we are so focused on who we want them to be or who we think they should be that failed to hear the answer to the question that we ask, Who are you? I believe that when God told mankind have dominion over the animals of the earth, mankind thought that meant to control other men and women. I do not seek to control nor will I allow others to control me. This does not mean that I am not open to suggestions and ideas of others but what it does mean is that my opinion is just that, my opinion and view of things. I believe that of others as well. Just woke up this morning after all busy day yesterday to read a letter from you, can’t tell you how much it means, Reading your letters feels like drinking fresh juice in the middle of the dessert, Felt like sitting alongside a river stream, listening to the sounds of nature…IS THIS NORMAL? …so what if it isn't lol, I enjoy every moment of this abnormality and thank God for allowing me to meet and learn more about one off his wonderful creations. And who knows where this will lead us to, one thing for sure, GOD already path the road we need to walk, and he want us to be happy. (I forgot to greet you), didn't mean to be rude, but that’s me… talking too much lol, too fast and to easy. I think that is one off my negative points in life. But I am not one for moping and thinking about something for days…. I am more off a do person than I think person and I will tell easily if something is not off my like. I can’t stand people who pretend With me it’s what you see is what you got. Some people think i'm too honest and straight forward. Others on the other hand will tell you that you will meet me and five minutes later it will feel like you know me all your life. life is too short to cry over other peoples mistakes.
