I am easy going and a open minded person...I think it is my open mindedness that has brought you and I together with me sending this email to you with the hope of finding love then I'll gladly take my chances! I also like Drama movies with complex stories that leave viewers somewhat confused, but if you think a bit deeper it all makes sense... MY BACKGROUND
I was born in Italy by an Italian father and an Kiwi mom but i grew up in New Zealand. I was about 16 when I lost my father he was in the marines. He branched out into business when he retired. He's late now but lived a happy life. He loved my mom with everything he had in life. My mom used to say to me that there was something about him that no woman could ever resist. Sometimes she says she sees same in me, lol. After my dad passed on, my mom and I had to move on I grew up and got to learn some of the things I know till date. I was married once at age 35. We got married 14 months after we met after then I established myself, we had a good marriage and thought we were going to spend the rest of our lives together and we took our chances. My wife passed away in April 2010 after a battle with cervical cancer. Those were dark times for me but looking back I think it was meant to be that way and now I thank God for bringing me back fully on my feet. Funny how moving on from grief gives you a new perspective on life. I’ve met a lady for coffee, very nice person but no wow sparks. I was really hoping to find that special woman who would care about me as much as I would care about her but as for me I am a very simple and easy going man. What really matters is how ready you really are to be with that one and how ready you know you want to spend the rest of your life loving that person till the end of time, distance is just a mere space between two people at a particular moment in time and it can always be completely broken at anytime when those two people have strong feelings for one another and knowing they want to stay together and love one another for the rest of their life knowing that in their heart alone can break the distance into pieces. As you see, there are myriad of colors and flavors about me... never a dull moment in my life... I have met many people from all walks of life, most are educated and well-traveled... I am very knowledgeable about current and global affairs... I like intellectually stimulating conversations...I love dogs but due to the nature of my work I don't have any yet... MY DREAM
When I'm old and shaky and can't see straight anymore I want to know there is someone by my side who is old and shaky and is my better half. Sometimes I think this sojourn called life is just to find that one perfect person that completes you and makes you happy in one million ways. Someone who fights you with the ferocity of a Tiger but loves you with the tenderness of a hen. Someone who will stand with you when you're shaky and soar with you when the going is good. This is all I ask from the Big Man upstairs. Let me grow old and in love, that's my dream. I am sure by now you are beginning to have a fair idea that I am hopeless romantic! Thanks for the email, I am glad i got to read from you at length and I hope to read more and talk at some point. I don't have kids, In regards to my work, I am a Gemologist by profession basically its about gem identification and diamond grading...I deal with natural and artificial gems and gemstone...I major in getting this stones in raw forms so i get to do some mining when I travel, its more expensive when you buy already made stones and resell to jewelers. It's quite tasking but its pays the bills and I am very comfortable. I own my own home in Greenwich and I have a condo in Florida. I have a Yacht as well I don't mean to brag or anything but I prefer to keep my financial status not known because a lot of female would jump at the fact that you are financially stable and you can afford anything they want, I am humble and I am a giver with a heart of gold. People who tend to be materialistic in nature are not my type so its best preferable to come out simple. I will like to share my interests with you, I think it's one of the needed steps to get to know each other better. My interests are photography, traveling, museums, the great outdoors-camping, movies most anything that I haven't seen or tried once. I am some worth of a dreamer believing that romance and love is what life is all about. I am not your usual man in thinking that love is how many women you sleep with, but believe that being loyal and loving to one woman is what makes love special. I believe intimacy is special in both forms. So many make the mistake of thinking intimacy is the simple act of sex. But to me intimacy is the touching of two souls, the beating of two hearts as one. Romance is a lost art these days and a lot of people often forget that the simple things in life are often the sweetest. How special it can be when two in love can simply swap a kiss, or share a walk hand in hand under a full moon. I do not pretend to be the answer to lost love, or the answer to everlasting romance.
