Sadly, I have been "scammed" (lead to believe) on 3 occasions thru Zoosk, eHarmony & Tinder. I thought I was safe on eHarmony because of the stringent matching process, however, these sites do not do background checks. Ladies, please be careful. Never give out any personal information until you've corresponded for a couple months. They will ask lots of questions to build your trust, but if your gut says that something isn't quite right, than trust it! Look for inconsistencies in the grammar, tense, language. Also, all 3 of these men used a "death in the family" at the start. Scammers do this to elicit your sympathy. Be careful with giving our your cell number too quickly. Ask to remain on the website until you feel enough time has passed. They will always ask to go offline. Lastly, if the person starts calling you pet names soon after you start communicating, I would be careful. Yet another trick to gain your trust, flatter you and set you up to be manipulated.

I am so glad I found this site. I would recommend it for anyone contemplating dating. Especially online dating. Unfortunately I found who I was looking for under 3 different names.
I want to thank Tamara who posted her emails and text from a male scammer named Richard Gustavo, he now goes by the name Anthony Garret but because he used the same emails and text I was able to google them and find out who he really was before I got hurt. Tamara saved me because of this site.
I know two scammers. One is Larry Gary in Nigeria, the other is Frank Morgan home in The Netherlands.
